Hopefully all this crap is only here waiting the big bin boat to take it away!
I live here and its even worse now. Is this why our council tax is so high?
That picture isn’t anywhere near media city. It’s the other side of the quays by the watersports centre.
This is what happens with urban areas of rivers that are cut off from the main flow. The crap gets caught. The mgmt company of the quays could be a bit more proactive.
And it’s about 300 metres away from media city. Which isn’t very far at all.
Not that close to MC:UK at all to be fair.
Doesn’t look the most appeasing, but in reality it happens – a Monthly/Quarterly clean up would do the trick I should imagine.
that rubbish is only there because of high winds recently, also its a basin for the rubbish to flow into and gather. Its`s the same at pier 9 on mcuk at moment. the bin boat is clearing it as i write this.
That’s why the post says the ‘other side’ of Media City..
umm, media city is just the latest part of the Salford Quays development, which has been around for about 20 years. As far as a connected area of population, it’s not that big. Just sayin’.
