Booths coming to MediaCity
The new store would be built in an extended unit under MediaCityUK’s multi-storey car park.
Booths already operates at 26 locations around the north of England. Its 23,000 sq ft MediaCityUK shop will be the first in Greater Manchester.
The agreement with Booths will be finalised once planning permission is granted, but it is proposed that the new store will open during 2011.
Phase 1 of MediaCityUK includes approximately 80,000 sq ft for retail/leisure use. The space will be divided into a range of units across the site, providing shops, cafés, bars and restaurants.
