Granada talks recommence
It would mean both ITV and the BBC are here on The Quays, and the world famous Coronation Street would be re-built right next door to Manchester United and the Imperial War Museum North.
Bryan Gray, the chairman of Media City developers, Peel Media, told the newspaper: "ITV have a particular requirement in Coronation Street. I can confirm that theyv'e offered them a package."
Having the BBC and ITV in one site really is the long-term goal of Peel and Media City UK, and this latest development looks like the dream just may become a reality.
